Enjoy wind ensemble music from the community Twin Ports Wind Orchestra and conductor Dr. Mark Whitlock. The winter concert --"Sounds of South America" -- features two guests, Maestro Patricia Vanegas Ruiz conducting music from Colombia and Maestro Dario Sotelo conducting music from Brazil.

Select pieces in the concert feature high school and junior high honors musicians from Superior Middle School, Marshall School, Cloquet Middle School, Stella Maris-St. John’s, and Duluth Edison Charter Schools North Star Academy playing with the Twin Ports Wind Orchestra.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. The Honor’s Musician program is funded by a grant from Duluth Legacy Endowment Fund of the Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation.
